• Set up and stage physical environments to support data collection sessions
• Monitor robot behavior, log issues clearly with timestamps, screenshots/video, and context
• Annotate and label collected data with internal tools to meet quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of runs, sessions, and dataset metadata
• Troubleshoot and assist with hardware/software setup for teleoperation rigs
• Work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Mechanical generalist with a robotics edge (mechanical/mechatronics engineering)
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in following procedures
• Comfortable operating robots and working in teleoperation environments
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs for staging and setup
• Can lead work with minimal guidance in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with robotics, teleoperation, or mechanical/electrical systems
• Familiarity with data collection tools and pipelines
• Loves good food and has a strong opinion on the best burrito within 2 miles (we do team meals)
• Low-ego collaborator who gives and receives kind, actionable feedback

Details:

• $20–$30/hr based on experience
